About Ardhito Pramono
Vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Ardhito Pramono sauntered onto the scene with a youthful approach to jazz that brings to mind a modern interpretation of laidback lounge music. Taking inspiration from ’30s to ’50s jazz, Pramono began pursuing his musical career despite pushback from his strict military family. The Jakarta-born crooner began uploading jazz covers online in 2013 before finding fame with the slowed-down, pillow-soft piano of 2017’s self-titled easy-listening EP and soundtrack contributions such as “fine today” and “Bila”. His 2020 EP Craziest Thing Happened in My Backyard draws from dark cinematic inspirations and personal struggles—juxtaposed by the therapeutic calm of smooth jazz.
Ardhito Pramono has also released music as a member of Wijaya 80.
