About Arvind Prabhakar
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
"Putham Pudhu Bhoomi" by A. R. Rahman sounded magical to me as a three-year-old. The captivating melodies, emotional chord progressions, & twinkling effects fused with lyrics passionately sung by vocal powerhouses were just otherworldly!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Hans Zimmer, Gladiator (Soundtrack from the Motion Picture) Soundtrack from the Motion Picture
LINKIN PARK, Reanimation
Seven Lions, Find Another Way - EP
I admired how Hans Zimmer set the trend for 21st-century movie soundtracks with "Gladiator", the way Linkin Park redefined nu-metal with "Reanimation," & the versatility Seven Lions showcased in "Find Another Way."

“Hyacinth”
I love Hyacinth, & it's quite special because I wanted to incorporate cinematic elements, & ghastly vocals into this production, & in doing so, it transformed into a sort of melodic bass record, helping me re-visit my soundtrack roots along the way.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Collabs are always memorable. Madison reignited in me musical aspirations I was convinced were dead & Marlene was a friend I'd wanted to work with since high school. Both times, I had a blast integrating our visions with my sound & their vocals.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
I hope I'm only getting started. I still have many unreleased ideas in the works & would love to have the opportunity to collaborate with various talented artists on them. Moreover, I have yet to go on tour and perform live, so stay tuned!
