ASCA is the alias of singer Asuka Ōkura, a finalist at the fifth Animax All-Japan Anison Grand Prix.
∙ Ōkura’s first single was selected as a theme song for the anime series The Pet Girl of Sakurasou.
∙ Soon after Ōkura finished high school, SACRA MUSIC signed ASCA to a major record deal.
∙ ASCA’s debut, “RUST,” was featured on a free CD released by influential anison magazine LisAni.
∙ Her music has been featured in numerous anime TV series, including Fate/Apocrypha, Record of Grancrest War, and Darwin’s Game.
∙ ASCA’s 2019 album, Hyakka Ryoran, includes the opening song of video game Sword Art Online: Alicization Rising Steel.
∙ The ASCA tracks “Mirage” and “Kobo” were used in the popular VR novel Tokyo Chronos.
