Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember the world before synthesizers were used in popular music, and the feeling that something new was happening as bands like Depeche Mode and New Order inspired music to change forever. I have played and collected synthesizers ever since.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Boards of Canada, Music Has the Right to Children DJ Shadow, Endtroducing..... The Orb, The Orb's Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld All of these albums were a revelation of what music could be; how the meaning of music itself was changing, and that great art could be made through engineering and vision. I know exactly where I was the first time I heard each for the first time.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Bliss” "Bliss" is the only song on "Modulations I" not named after a scientific concept for a reason; I don't know how else to describe the feeling of a melodic sub-bass sliding in to carry the emotional weight of a song. Pure sonic bliss.
