Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I’d climb the bookshelves as a toddler just to sleep by my dad's hi-fi speakers. Everyone knew I loved music before I could speak. I grew up inside the sound.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? BT, Movement In Still Life Imogen Heap, Ellipse Thomas Newman, Skyfall BT’s Movement in Still Life taught me that rhythm could think and emotion could be built. Imogen Heap’s Ellipse showed me how technology could breathe. Thomas Newman’s Skyfall proved restraint can be cinematic, that silence is part of the score.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? For me, the most memorable moment was recent. When I realized how AI could transform production, cutting creation time from months to hours. Hearing an AI voice bring emotion to my lyrics for the first time was surreal.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'd say exploring all the tedious facets of composition and production that AI can accelerate. I was ahead of the curve when I embraced MIDI and sampling as a young composer, and now with AI tools I feel like a wide eyed kid again!
