Venerable producer/mixer/engineer David Wrench and singer/visual artist/model Evangeline Ling make arty post-punk together as audiobooks. What began as improvisations in Wrench's studio evolved into their first album, 2018's Now! (In a Minute), a blend of danceable synth pop, sound experiments, and theatrical sketches. The follow-up, 2021's Astro Tough, sharpened its focus in on Wrench's club-friendly post-punk productions in tandem with Ling's dramatic spoken word narratives.
