About Austin
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I think, for me, the earliest musical moment I've had in my life was listening to Avril Lavigne with my mother as a child.
That and also listening to the music from Hannah Montana while I was watching that as a child as well.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
CHUNG HA, Querencia
Kesha, Gag Order
Lana Del Rey, Ultraviolence (Deluxe) Deluxe Version
The songwriting for Ultraviolence & Gag Order is just majestical.
They're both really inspiring albums for songwriters looking to channel raw emotion.
Querencia is just a magical experience just from a first listen, enough said.

“I Miss U”
Music is healing, whether you listen to it or you just write for it.
Writing this song was an emotional moment for me and just recording it was just tough, if that makes sense.
