Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I took piano lessons as a child and really loved learning and playing the songs from the Suzuki books. I would learn the songs by ear and then pretend to read the music so my teacher wouldn’t get mad at me. My parents liked classical and jazz music
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Black Flag, Damaged Herbie Hancock, Head Hunters Jim Morrison, The Doors, An American Prayer (Bonus Track Edition) I like albums that really have a feel to them, whether it’s a jazz album like the Herbie Hancock or a punk record like the Black Flag one, I like music that goes all in. I like the Jim Morrison record because it’s a poetry record
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I’ve been playing music for 20 years and have barely made any money from it—in fact I spend way more on producing music than I’ve ever made playing shows or trying to sell merch. I’m working on my production skills so I can make higher quality songs
