About Avelane
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I first got into rock music when I was about 12 years old through bands such as Nirvana, Bush, and then Lifehouse, Shinedown, and similar. Their influence is all over Avelane's music, whilst also bringing our own unique style to the mix.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Bush, Sixteen Stone (Remastered)
Lifehouse, No Name Face
Shinedown, The Sound of Madness
For me, these albums transformed the way I thought about music. The sound unique and familiar, bringing together all the elements that I love in music; great melodies, strong lyrics, and memorable songs that stay in your head for days on end.

“Don't Turn The Page”
This was one of the first songs written for the debut album and combines 00s alternative rock influences with modern elements. I wrote the lyrics in just 15 minutes after waking up at 5am and overthinking life, as usual.
