About Avence
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I remember in one of my first music classes in school, I got paired up with the "genius" musician and we ended up getting the best score of the class - which I had the most fun in a long time helping to make.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
ILLENIUM, Ascend
ODESZA, A Moment Apart
Yoe Mase, An Unfiltered Stream of Consciousness
In ILLENIUM's Ascend, every track being consistently good and having the best end to an album I've listened to. ODESZA's AMA is beautiful, dreamy and very unique in its style. Yoe Mase's AUSOC is filled with emotion from beginning to end.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“On To You”
As my "first" official release, this marked a moment to which I felt happy sending my silly little creations out into the world
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Releasing my collaboration EP with Ashes and Dreams, as their vocals helped me to learn how to produce and create songs for free.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
To write a song alongside a vocalist, and to release a full-length album.
