About BAAR.
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
One of my earliest memories of music is singing in church as a little girl. I remember being completely fascinated by how music could fill a room and make people feel something without saying very much. At home, music was always around.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Beyoncé, Lemonade
Chronixx, Chronology
Rihanna, ANTI (Deluxe)
They would be ANTI by Rihanna, Chronology by Chronixx, and Lemonade by Beyoncé.
ANTI taught me that an artist doesn't have to follow expectations
Chronology is one of those rare albums that feels deeply spiritual without losing its musical richness.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Ocean”
If I had to choose one song, it would be "Ocean." It holds a special place in my heart because it was the first song I ever personally produced, and it is sweet music.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Going on tour with Lauryn Hill for The Miseducation Tour in 2018, she gave me a huge and told me to never stop doing what I was doing. I can never forget!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
Absolutely! I haven't even started yet. What God has shown me concerning my music is too huge and I pray in His mercy that He fulfills everyone of them.
