Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Some of my earliest musical memories include writing raps and performing them weekly at school events and freestlying on the bus ride home with my neighbor. Music is something I have always had a passion for.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Dr. Dre, The Chronic Jeezy, The Recession (Bonus Track Version) Nipsey Hussle, Victory Lap The Chronic is the album that made me fall in love with hip hop. Victory Lap is arguably the greatest collection on songs put together for an album. The Recession was a guide to getting through one of the darkest times in American History.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Yesterday (feat. June B)” Yesterday holds a special place in my heart because it is about family and friends who are no longer here. Yesterday allows me to turn back the hands of time and relive those moments. Everytime I play Yesterday it evokes many different emotions.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments in my career was the first time I performed. I was nervous at first, but the reaction from from the crowd changed my nervousness to excitement. On that night a star was born.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My main goals are to continue growing as an artist, push myself to be more transparent and collaborate with more artists. I would love for my music to be heard by more people and to widen my fanbase.
