A punishing technical death metal trio based out of Dallas, Texas, Baring Teeth's lethal blend of doom, grind, death, and progressive metal evokes names like Gorguts, KEN Mode, and Deathspell Omega. Founded in 2010 by Andrew Hawkins (guitar/vocals), Scott Addison (bass/vocals), and Jason Roe (drums), the group issued their hard-hitting debut album, Atrophy, via Willowtip Records in 2011. They continued the assault on their sophomore effort, 2014's Ghost Chorus Among Old Ruins, and in 2018 they inked a deal with Translation Loss and released the aptly named Transitive Savagery.
