Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
My father always played heavier music, usually from the 80s. My earliest musical memories were of him playing guitar, typically some form of Dokken, Tesla, or Metallica. I remember being blown away by the speed and loudness of it all.

What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Avenged Sevenfold, Avenged Sevenfold
Megadeth, Rust In Peace
TOOL, Undertow
I loved these albums because of their speed, technicality, and complexity. Rust in Peace is a masterclass in speed, Avenged Sevenfold incorporates so many instruments into their music, and Undertow perfectly mixes chill music with difficult rhythms.

“Shattered & Scarred”
I love this song because not only is it one of our more complex arrangements, but it was also our very first song as Barren Mind. We weren't afraid of anything being "weird", and this track perfectly encapsulates what we're about.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
One of our most memorable memories was the recording of our first EP "HEADSPACE" We all were in the same mindset in recording- quality was everything. We all pushed for the final product we heard in our heads and the entire process was a blast.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
It's definitely a bucket list item for us to open for a tenured band visiting Texas. We'd love the opportunity to show our music to a broader fanbase.
