Discovered during a stopover in Brussels while working as an entertainer on a North European cruise ship, Belgian Bart Herman spent the next two decades balancing his music career with ventures into both TV and theater. Fusing classic rock & roll with Tex-Mex, Latin pop, and easy listening, he scored his first hit in 1993 with "Ik Ga Dood Aan Jou" and achieved his highest-charting album eight years later with Verzameld (No. 4). In addition to his 11 albums, Herman has also presented De Drie Wijzen and Kriebels and appeared as Pontius Pilate in Jesus Christ Superstar.
