Another in a seemingly endless stream of alter egos featuring various West London producers and musicians, BB Boogie is the pseudonym of Daz-I-Kue and Scott Clifford, two esteemed members of the broken beat production collective Bugz in the Attic. Their debut single was a remake of Roy Ayers' "Tell Him," issued on their own Lawz of Motion imprint in 2000 and eventually licensed in the United States to nu-jazz imprint Giant Step. A limited-edition 12" single on Bitasweet would follow later, as well as a few scattered tracks on various West London-based compilations. ~ Rob Theakston
