In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I grew up listening to CDs. My Father would Play Fela's music, Bob Marley's, Lucky Dube's, and all sorts of artists. Later, while growing up, I joined my local Church choir, and since then, music has unconsciously become a part of me.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Burna Boy, On a Spaceship Nas, Distant Relatives Wande Coal, Mushin 2 Mo' Hits Distant Relatives gave me insight into who I am as an African. On a Spaceship is an album I could relate to being an African child. Wande Coal's Mushin 2 Mo'Hits is a complete art of work, I have loved it since I was a child till date.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “NSG (feat. ODUMODUBLVCK)” So many hidden gems that only a listener's conscious would understand the meaning. I talked about Fela, and Monica Lewinsky and how the Nigerian Armed Forces shot at unarmed protesters at the Lekki toll gate in Lagos, Nigeria.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Learning about sound design, recording process, and song composition.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? It's endless. You set a list and when you achieve it you want more, so it's obvious it's an endless height that every process and achievement should be celebrated, nonetheless, I'd love to get more reach in the future.
