Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember waking up early on a Saturday morning, before my parents, and plugging headphones into the hifi system. There was a tape of Huey Lewis and the News. I listened to The Heart of Rock and Roll over and over again until I knew every syllable.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? DC Talk, Welcome to the Freak Show (Live) Joe Bonamassa, Blues of Desperation Led Zeppelin, The Complete Led Zeppelin (Remastered) Welcome to the Freak Show took the campy DC Talk vibe and turned it into a rock show. Blues of Desperation exemplifies a guitar-driven modern blues album. Zeppelin is how I came to love Rock and Roll.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Chroma” This song is special because it kicked off my adult pursuit of music. There was no pressure to get gigs, no pressure to sell albums, just the joy of making music in my bedroom.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to be a part of a Cory Wong video some day. I love the way he showcases less-mainstream talent. It would be an honor to work with Cory.
