In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Going to see Bruce Springsteen at Slane castle, Ireland 1985 at the age of 13. Life changing day. I said that day "I want to do what he is doing". So I started to learn how to play guitar and started my 1st band at the age of 17.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bruce Springsteen, Born to Run Neil Young, Comes a Time Van Morrison, Astral Weeks These 3 albums probably had the biggest influence on my life. Born to Run provided the getaway car. Astral Weeks provided the stream of consciousness and Comes a Time provided me with lessons and values in life come adulthood
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Orbit” This song is my hats off to Ennio Morricone. It is my master piece in arrangement, mood and has that cinematic vibe. It is also very different to a lot of my other music.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Recording in Nashville - my 2020 album "The Nashville Calling" The highlight was having E Street Band member Garry W Tallent playing bass on the whole record.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Of course. I want to do what that 13 year old kid saw that day in 1985 and one day headline Slane Castle. Like John Lennon dreamt - I want to take this thing to the tippity top and keep going till I drop.
