About Benjamin Kravitz
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I first got introduced to music at the age of 8 being in different studios. By the age of 14 I was experimenting with different microphones preparing for my first in-home studio.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Childish Gambino, "Awaken, My Love!"
Lupe Fiasco, Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album, Pt. 1
Marvin Gaye, What's Going On Remastered
Food & Liquor II was a turning point for music in general, to me it restored Hip-Hop in a way where the conversations in poverty were forced to be had whether choose to accept it or not ! The other two is because of the artistry for humanity !
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Rep to Repetition”
Truthfully when I wrote this song it from a prospective of patterns seen in poverty-stricken areas that the youth often fall victim to trying to emulate things, they deem successful and the ways they go about proving that it is successful.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Most memorable is going 9x Platinum for a record I wrote & sang on. Here's to many more !
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
I will work with Pharrell on my first album & Tyler the Creator will executive produce it !
