In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Performing around the state when I was 6 with the Honolulu Boys Choir is my earliest significant musical memory. Passing the rhythm test to become a percussionist in my school's concert band was also a canon event in my story.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jaheim, Still Ghetto R. Kelly, Happy People / U Saved Me USHER, Confessions (Expanded Edition) It could be nostalgia, but these 3 albums were the first that I remember memorizing. Every riff, run, harmony, adlib, and interlude is somewhere stored in the depths of my musical brain. When a track from one of these albums comes on, it a wrap!

Tell us why you chose this song. “Legendary” 'Legendary' is one of my favorite tracks because of its upbeat energy and meaning. This record was made from a place of desperation. An attempt at persuading a woman who was slipping away from me to stay with me.
