About Bladee
Born Benjamin Reichwald, Bladee went to school with Zak Arogundade—now known as fellow singer/rapper Ecco2k—and they performed together in the punk band Krossad.
∙ In 2013, Bladee formed the Drain Gang collective alongside Ecco2k, rapper Thaiboy Digital, and producers Whitearmor and Yung Sherman.
∙ Bladee was featured on Yung Lean’s 2013 mixtape Unknown Death 2002, kicking off a series of collaborations between the two Swedish rappers.
∙ Also a fashion designer and visual artist, he became the creative director of Yung Lean’s clothing line in 2017.
∙ “1D,” the opening track on Bladee’s 2018 album, Red Light, was inspired by UK boy band One Direction.
∙ Bladee collaborated with Varg² on “Perfect Isolation,” a song from the Swedish techno producer’s 2019 album, Evanescence (A Love Letter).
∙ In 2020, Bladee guested on the Palmistry remix of Hannah Diamond’s “Love Goes On,” while also releasing two solo albums, EXETER and 333.
