About Bleech 9:3
The sound of Bleech 9:3 -- impactful, melodic rock wrapped in layers of '90s-style distortion -- is as striking as the circumstances that formed the band in the first place. Singer/guitarist Barry Quinlan and guitarist Sam Duffy both came up in bands around their native Dublin, Ireland, but didn't formally meet until both enrolled in Alcoholics Anonymous to kick a shared addiction. Quinlan ended up becoming Duffy's AA sponsor, and a deep, personal bond gave way to a fruitful musical partnership. Rounded out by bassist James Quinlan and drummer Luke O'Neill and possessed by a desire to offer hope to their listeners, Bleech 9:3 relocated to London and hit the ground running in the fall of 2025, releasing singles "Ceiling," "Jacky," and "Cannonball." All three were included on their five-track, self-titled debut EP, picked up for release by Polydor.
