Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is discovering how a few minor notes on the piano could completely change the mood of a room. I was drawn to darker, more cinematic sounds early on, and that instinct still shapes the music I make today.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Daniel Caesar, NEVER ENOUGH James Blake, Enough Thunder - EP Portishead, Dummy Enough Thunder changed the way I experience music. James Blake showed me how intimate sound can feel at a soul level. Daniel Caesar’s voice carries a universal depth of emotion, and Dummy shaped me while I was discovering my sound.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Incredible” Incredible captures the elements I love most in music. It starts in a quiet, spacious world, slowly building as electronic pulses rise beneath it, before erupting into a dance-driven climax. It carries me through a tunnel of beautiful chaos.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments in my career has been seeing choreography created to my songs around the world. Watching dancers interpret the emotional world of the music in their own bodies has been incredibly moving.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I’d love to collaborate with James Blake. His approach to emotion and sound has influenced me deeply. I’d also love to be photographed by Steven Klein, whose visual work feels bold, cinematic and iconic.
