About Bobby Gardner
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I remember growing up watching old musicals with my mom, and listening to The Beatles whenever I rode in the car with my dad.
I remember my grandpa always telling me to listen to Frank Sinatra.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Frank Sinatra, Nothing But the Best (Remastered)
The Darkness, One Way Ticket to Hell...And Back
The Who, Who's Next (Remastered 2022)
Frank Sinatra reminds me of my grandpa, and is someone I enjoy listening to in any mood.
The Darkness' One Way Ticket is the rare band where I loved their debut album, but had their second exceed it.
Who's next is just awesome
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Pumpkin Spice Latte”
I only have one song out at the moment.
But I like it.
It is my ode to fall, and reminds me of a Saturday with college football in the fall.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Releasing my first single.
I never thought I would even release music ever, but have been able to make a whole Thanksgiving album, and I love it.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
To break into cultural relevancy.
I don't exactly know what that means, but I feel like I will know it when I see it.
I would love if ten years from now Thanksgiving music is a pop culture staple.
Even if its not my music.
