About Bobby Richards
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
The fist time I heard the Beatles sing “You’re gonna lose that girl,” it changed my life. Not only had It started me on a path of musical discovery that still excites me. It also, like many Beatles songs, proved true in my life.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Cameron Kelsey, Dripping Springs - EP
Elvis Costello & The Attractions, This Year's Model
Tom Petty, Full Moon Fever
Everyday my favourite albums change. This Years Model connects to my energy, every song is fun to me. Full Moon fever again has an energy I love and every song is a journey. And Dripping Springs is my best friend and musical brother doing great.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Beneath Your Beauty”
This is a song about when I learned how to love better and understand my emotions a bit better. Still got a long way to go but I learned a lot writing this song.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Playing Sweet Like Poison on stage with Jay Semko and Russell Broom.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
I’d still like to make a bucket list someday. It’s in the works.
