In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Hearing Saint-Saëns' Symphony No. 3 ("Organ Symphony") blast through the huge speakers my father and grandfather had built. The dynamic range blew my mind at a young age: not only hearing but also feeling the music.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Talk Talk, The Colour of Spring Remastered Ultravox, Rage in Eden a-ha, MTV Unplugged - Summer Solstice Impossible to choose, really. But these 3 for me are pinnacles of recording, varying from electronic music to (live) analogue recording and the musical experimentation that comes with it.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Dark and Scary Places” The first song I ever recorded. Not a happy one but it turned out almost exactly like I wanted it, given my recording capabilities at the time. Although I would do some things differently now, I'm still proud of this one.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Playing my songs with a full band is definitely on my bucket list. And releasing an album in surround sound, but hopefully that will be crossed off my list when I release my upcoming third album.
