In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my first positive memories of performing was my 8th grade talent show at Chippens Hill Middle School in Bristol, CT. I sang "Black Balloon" by The Goo Goo Dolls, and got a standing O. I felt cool, for once.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Incubus, Make Yourself TOOL, Undertow Third Eye Blind, Third Eye Blind Make Yourself, both lyrically and musically, spoke perfectly to my life situation at the time of its release. Undertow has a lyrical depth and darkness driven by a powerful arrangement with tricky time signatures I love. 3EB self-titled: masterpiece.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Promiscuity” I wrote this song influenced by all the thirst traps that pop up while doom scrolling through reels on Instagram. I felt an appreciation for how pathetic we all were on both sides of the screen, and felt I had to write about it.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I had a great time performing for one of my former student's fraternity. They were really into it and we both rocked out hard. It was an intense performance on both sides of the microphone... the best kind.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yes, I would like to actually be able to live off of my music, i.e., become a major success, but sadly, getting people out to shows is like pulling teeth, and no one buys records anymore because of streaming apps like this!
