Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The very first time I knew I had to learn how to make music was when I was 4 years old. I was in a food court on holiday in Tasmania and a string quartet was playing. I was completely mesmerised. I felt like I couldn't move!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? AURORA, Infections of a Different Kind (Step I) Agnes Obel, Aventine Ruelle, Emerge These 3 albums take me off to another world, a cinematic soundscape where my mind can create various dreamscapes to escape into. I love the depth but also the minimalism in these albums - there's so much room for me to make my own meaning out of them
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Hold Your Breath” This song is really spacious and epic at the same time. I really love savouring the feeling that is embedded in the lyrics, that feeling of being on the brink of something big.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Launching an album with my own full band at a large city venue to a very appreciative audience. I love playing live shows in beautiful spaces.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to tour more - I would love to tour across multiple countries to multiple appreciative audiences!
