Producer and DJ Statik Selektahāborn Patrick Barilāhas spent more than two decades crafting his own mixes while running point on dozens of cuts by some of East Coast hip-hopās biggest names.
ā Originally known as DJ Statik, he began spinning at clubs and on the radio when he was 13 years old.
ā His 2011 breakout Population Control, which featured the Mac Miller collaboration āGroupie Love,ā debuted just shy of the Top 10 on Billboardās Heatseekers Albums chart.
ā After teaming up for 2011ās Well Done, rapper Action Bronson tapped him to help produce his major-label debut, Mr. Wonderful, which hit No. 7 on the Billboard 200.
ā Not only does he host a long-running show on Eminemās Shade 45 Sirius XM station, but he also appears as a DJ in the video game Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City.
