Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I used to ride the bus to school every day as a kid. I vividly remember being put on to Odd Future as a 10 or 11 year old in like 2011-2012. We'd get on the bus and look for the latest music that we were gonna skate/bike to that day. Fun times.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bobbi Humphrey, Fancy Dancer Kanye West, The Life of Pablo Madlib, The History of the Loop Digga, 1990-2000 These are masterpieces. I'd say these albums represent the range of my musical interests and influences as a whole. Each of these albums are responsible for changing my perception of music in some way, shape, or form. It captures a time in life where time itself felt like it didn't exist. Driving down ocean ave w/ the roommates. Simple as that. Just caught in time. Take a drive at sunset and listen.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I guest lectured at The University of Michigan and spoke on my recent EP "Nevastatic" to the History and Evolution of Hip-Hop course. The talk delved into the inspiration and technical process of the EP as well as the role of music in {R} evolutions.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Tough to think of right now. I simply enjoy being a part of this Hip-Hop community and getting outside. Getting Earl on a track would be cool tho.
