Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Listening to Roller Skates by Steel Pulse with my uncle in his Chevy Trailblazer. The feeling of the bass in my seats as we drove around Long Beach. This heavily influenced my usage of melodic bass lines and dub rhythms mixed with classic G-Funk.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Money Man, Paranoia Sade, Diamond Life Tory Lanez, PLAYBOY Live The melodic, harmonic, rhythmic influences of these songs co-exist with my interpretation of life in music. They all connect in theme, structure, ideas in the most eclectic ways. The strong connection to the moment, the now, seize it or lose it.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Lxst Lxve (Freestyle)” This song is when I realize my true voice. I learned to connect my innermost pain through what brings me the most joy in life aside love itself, music. From penitentiary warfare to betrayal and hopelessness. I found salvation in my tribulations.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Being called by Dallas Martin at 3AM to fix a session breaking issue with a Grammy-award winning artist. Recording with GHETTORICHMC on apartment steps at 1AM. Recording my first full song with SlumFromThe415. Rest in Peace Neall.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Being officially invited to the Grammy Awards and earning a nomination. Watching myself or one of my artists fulfill their dreams entirely and how it changes the lives of the people they love.
