Daniel Rosenfeld, who records under the name C418, is a German electronic music artist who composed and designed music for the blockbuster video game Minecraft. ∙ He released two albums of his music from Minecraft, with 2013’s Minecraft - Volume Beta reaching No. 14 on Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart. ∙ Aside from his Minecraft work, he’s also known for ambient- and dance-oriented tracks, such as “BGC418,” a 2011 collaboration with video game music composer Big Giant Circles. ∙ In 2017, C418 released the theme song for Beyond Stranger Things, a talk show that aired after the popular streaming series’ second season.
