About GRIP TIGHT
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
One of my earliest musical memories is working through dad's record collection & discovering things like the Beatles & Led Zeppelin. Hearing them for the 1st time with no context of who they were or when they were from, focussing purely on the songs.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Arthur Russell, Calling Out of Context
Sade, Diamond Life
Womack & Womack, Transformation to the House of Zekkariyas
They make me feel something that other albums don't make me feel.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Never B Mine”
The first collaboration with Martha Rose. It was meant as a one-off release but we enjoyed it so much we made an album together.
