About Caleb Stone
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
Five years old, sitting on the tailgate of my grandad’s rusted Chevy. He was picking "Wildwood Flower" on an old acoustic. The smell of diesel and pine, the truck vibrating under me—that’s when the music got into my bones.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Chris Stapleton, Traveller
Eric Church, Chief
Waylon Jennings, Honky Tonk Heroes
Honky Tonk Heroes (Waylon): It’s mean and real.
Chief (Eric Church): Taught me how to mix rock grit with country lyrics.
Traveller (Chris Stapleton): Pure soul. It’s the record that makes every songwriter want to work harder.

“Gravel in My Throat”
This track defines my sound. It’s got that heavy, thumping low-end and a vocal that sounds exactly like the title. We didn’t overthink it—we just let the guitars be loud and the story be honest.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Playing a Tuesday night at Springwater Supper Club. The place was packed, sweating, and smelled like old beer. When the whole room started shouting the lyrics back at me, I realized you don't need a stadium to feel like a rockstar.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
The Ryman. It’s the Mother Church. Standing on those floorboards is the ultimate goal. Other than that, I just want to keep the guitars loud and the songs honest. No factory-made hits here.
