Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. At the age of five, Moody saw "Star Wars: The Phantom Menace" for the first time and was so captivated by the score that he would watch the film countless times just to hear the music. He cited it as his reason for becoming a composer.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? John Williams, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial (Music From the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) John Williams, Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Michael Jackson, Thriller Each of these albums represents a time in my life in which a significant musical discovery was made. They are very much a part of my DNA, and have informed the way I write and listen to music.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Washington Black (Main Titles)” The theme from Hulu's "Washington Black" held special importance due not only to its role in the show, but for the musical milestone of having scored a major TV series. It became the sort of calling card for the show, and was great fun to write.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? His score for Hulu's "Washington Black" marks a milestone in his career: his first studio film or television series as solo lead composer, but also the historical milestone of being the youngest composer to ever score a 20th Television property.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Meeting world-famous composer John Williams has been a bucket list item for Moody's whole life. Up to this point unsuccessful, he holds out hope that he may one day meet the Maestro and thank him for all of his groundbreaking scores.
