Alabama Shakes, Sound & Color The National, I Am Easy to Find Vampire Weekend, Modern Vampires of the City These three records shaped how I made music the most. The songwriting on Modern Vampires, the Sound Design of Sound & Color, and the energy of Easy to Find.

It felt special as I was making it, partially because it came out so fast. I wrote all the lyrics on my way home from the dentist.
