Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is competing with my sister for the attention of our Grandma and anyone who would watch. We would sing the National Anthem into the vacuum adapters, create dance routines, and see who could have the best solo.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Ariana Grande, Dangerous Woman Kelly Clarkson, Meaning of Life Taylor Swift, 1989 I chose Meaning of Life, 1989, and Dangerous Woman because they are albums that inspire me to be a powerful force in the world. These women, especially Kelly Clarkson, have shaped me as a person and artist. The diversity with their music is amazing!
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Stranger (feat. Azrael)” I wrote this song after a breakup that shredded my confidence. This song is about me taking back my power and reclaiming my story. It was a lesson learned about not listening to just the words people tell you, and that actions have consequences.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments in my career so far has to be performing at the Revolution Concert House in Idaho. It was the largest stage I had performed on and the place was packed. It was also my last performance before my 7 year hiatus.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There is a laundry list of things I will accomplish as an artist. There are so many talented people on the internet that have made it. I am so inspired by my fellow Queer artist and would love to collaborate and learn from them.
