About Cavalry
An atmosphere-driven five-piece from Liverpool who cite the National and the Maccabees as influences, English indie rockers Cavalry employ a heady blend of lush indie folk and soaring alt-rock. Founded in 2014 and comprised of Steven Taylor (guitar), Gareth Dawson (drums), Alan Croft (lead vocals), Austin Logan (guitar), and Paul James Jones (bass), the Merseyside quintet released a pair of singles in 2015, "Soak" and "An Understanding," that caught the attention The Guardian and the BBC. A third single, the slow-burning and anthemic "Everything," dropped in early 2016 via Fierce Panda. ~ James Christopher Monger
