In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was around 4 my mom would play a couple of classical songs on the piano that still stuck with her from having classical piano lessons for 16 years during her youth. As she stopped playing I took over taking lessons with her old piano teacher.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Felix Rösch, Fragmente Jóhann Jóhannsson, Orphée Nils Frahm, Ólafur Arnalds, Stare - EP My two favourite albums are "Fragmente" and "Orphée". These composers made a deep impression on me. I also had to include music from Olafur and Nils as they had a big influence during my conservatory time, and I saw them perform live quite often.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Breathing Water (Piano Edit)” This was a very important piano song for me — it became the cornerstone of my debut album 'Left Upon Us', and shaped the foundation for how I wanted my piano music to sound. Deep, spacious and ambient, with a lot of experimenting on cassette.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing my album 'Perpetua' with a small woodwind ensemble (clarinet, bass clarinet and oboe) in a sold-out Vondelkerk in Amsterdam, with support from James Heather and Sergio Díaz De Rojas.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'd love to tour around Europe with a small string ensemble and myself on piano, performing my own compositions. Another dream is to tour in far away places like Iran, Turkey and around Eastern Europe.
