Artist Biography
Veteran Bay Area vocalist Michael Cerda assembled the Cerda Project to record the album It's Not Over in 2000. With accompaniment provided by ex-members of the Travis Larson Band -- guitarist Travis Larson, drummer Dale Moon, and bassist Jennifer Young -- Cerda was so inspired by the recording sessions that he moved to make the band more permanent. Combining progressive pop with jam band, acoustic jazz, rock, and old wave influences, the group created some of the most infectious music heard in Northern California. Changing their name to Big Breakfast in July 2001, the group released an impressive EP, Over Easy, shortly afterwards. ~ Craig Harris
