Cheat Codes is a Los Angeles electronic music trio comprising producers and DJs Trevor Dahl, Matthew Russell, and KEVI.
∙ Their breakthrough single, 2016’s “Sex,” incorporated lyrics from Salt-N-Pepa’s hit “Let’s Talk About Sex” and was a collaboration with the Dutch DJs Kris Kross Amsterdam.
∙ In 2017, Cheat Codes reached the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 with the Platinum-certified Demi Lovato collaboration “No Promises.”
∙ As remixers, they’ve reimagined songs by U2 (“Love Is Bigger Than Anything In Its Way”), Kelly Clarkson (“Second Wind”), Liam Payne (“Live Forever”), and Katy Perry (“Swish Swish”).
∙ They’re known for eclectic collaborations, teaming up with such pop stars as Little Mix, DJs Kaskade, and Afrojack, as well as with rappers Fetty Wap and Trippie Redd.
