About Cherub
Jordan Kelley and Jason Huber, founders of the Nashville electro-R&B duo Cherub, met in 2006 while studying music production at Middle Tennessee State University.
â Cherub was invited to open for STS9 at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in 2012, after having released just two indie albums.
â In 2013, they earned a major-label record deal, thanks to the viral video for âDoses & Mimosasââa song inspired by a party-loving dude they met in an Alabama liquor store.
â âDoses & Mimosasâ became a Top 25 hit on Billboardâs Hot Rock Songs chart in 2014.
â Huber sang âWalk This Wayâ with Run-DMCâs Darryl McDaniels at Bonnarooâs Superjam in 2015.
â The duo are long-time T.I. fans and collaborated with the rapper on the 2016 electro-R&B single âSigns.â
â They have been known to don ridiculous wigs and play secret shows using the alter ego Snicklefritz.
