Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. We sat down one day having never written a song together and in one sitting wrote 6 complete songs that will go down as some of the best songs ever written. Chess Club was born on that day and so was a kid in Chicago that we'll never meet.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Felix Pastorius)” "Your Shirt" is a special song because it tells an important yet untold story of the misunderstanding that can happen when trying to read a shirt. The greatness of music is in the eye of the beholder and sometimes those eyes get caught looking.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? We were opening a sold out show for Durand Jones. While the audience didn't know us, we quickly had the whole crowd singing along to "I wish your dog didn't look at me when we make love" and "I'm not bothered by your birthmark" which was epic.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We need to headline Madison Square Garden, collaborate with John Mayer, The 1975, Justin Bieber, Jack Antonoff and Olivia Rodrigo. We need to break up and then have a reunion tour and then get Taylor Swift to write a breakup song about us.
