Dominican rapper Chimbala’s collaboration with Liro Shaq on the single “Bye Bye” was nominated for Video of the Year at the 2018 Premios Soberano awards.
∙ In addition to writing his own songs, Chimbala has also composed and arranged tracks for Melymel, El Poeta Callejero, and Black Jonas.
∙ He’s developed a second career as an actor, costarring in the 2019 comedy Super Bomberos and the 2018 crime drama Calle sin Salida.
∙ The video for his 2018 single “Maniqui” garnered more than 50 million views, leading to remixes with Farruko and Pitbull.
