About Choice Four
The Choice Four were a harmonizing soul group from Washington, D.C., whose records deserved a better fate. They recorded for RCA in the mid-'70s, but were never able to achieve a breakout hit, despite making some very moving, nicely sung ballads. While they did score several Billboard appearances, they never quite managed to reach the R&B Top 40 (1975's "When You're Young and in Love" made it to number 45). Some members went on to tour in projects with former members of the Temptations.
