Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My senior year of high school is when I first started publicly rapping. My best friend at the time and I created a song to Nas' 'If I Ruled The World'. We performed it for our social studies class as an assignment. Most terrifying moment ever, lol.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 50 Cent, Get Rich or Die Tryin Kanye West, Late Registration Lil Wayne, Tha Carter II These three projects really raised the bar for me as a fan. Not only the projects themselves, but the entire feeling around the artist as well. Arguably each of their top projects or top 2, at least. Also, these albums shaped me as a young artist!
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “To the Moon” This song is for favorite person in the entire world. I had the instrumental from Progression Music for almost two years before I actually sat down and painted the lyrics on the beat. I smile every time I hear it because she will have this forever.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of my most memorable moments is opening for MGK the year before he signed to Bad Boy. Sharing the stage with my guy G-Beck, we were able to not only turn up the crowd ourselves, but also see MGK take it to the next level. Was very inspiring.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I never really had the opportunity to create a project with a single producer (or team) from start to scratch. I would enjoy the chance to see what type of sound I could create with someone if we locked in for an album.
