About Christopher Aukerman
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I grew up loving The Strokes, Mute Math, Metric, TV on the Radio, and The Killers. An alternative guy at heart, my love for dance music soon took over, inspired by Madonna, Justice, Daft Punk, deadmau5, Tiësto, Diplo, and Lady Gaga.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Lady Gaga, ARTPOP
Lady Gaga, Born This Way Special Edition
Lady Gaga, Chromatica
Love Lady Gaga so all three belong to her. So hard to pick a top three. Depends on what mood I'm in really. These are the most badass though.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“I Do (Redux Version)”
I Do means a lot because it's about the forbidden love I could not have. It was a difficult time in my life. This song reminds me of the hopeful time before it ended. I'd recommend the redux version. I mixed things up a bit.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
So far? Breaking 3,000 streams. Goal is 10,000... then 100,000... then 1,000,000! Please help me by adding some songs to your playlist. Love you AUKERMANIANS!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
To play at Coachella! My dream would be to be able to play at Coachella and have my parents on the side stage. That would be a DREAM COME TRUE.
