In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I grew up watching my entire family be music lovers-- my parents grew up in the church and were choir singers, and my dad knew how to play the guitar. Music was always a part of my life. My dad taught me how to sing and play the guitar as well.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Aaliyah, One In A Million Frank Ocean, channel ORANGE SZA, SOS Deluxe: LANA Aaliyah is my inspiration when it comes to making music-- she was beyond ahead of her time with her art and she has a lot of influence on my love for R&B music. I absolutely love Frank Ocean and SZA due to their creative lyrics and sound.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Being able to record in the studio and sing in general has been so monumental for me, personally. My first single, Playlist, I made this song with my friends and the closest people to me. Playlist is extremely special to me.
