About C.J WALKER
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
One of my earliest musical memories is waking up to my dad’s CD collection on Sunday mornings. I’d hear all kinds of genres like gospel, jazz, and R&B, which exposed me to a wide range of sounds from a young age.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Bryson Tiller, T R A P S O U L
Michael Jackson, Thriller
The Notorious B.I.G., Ready to Die (The Remaster)
These albums shaped me and connected with me deeply. Ready to Die is raw storytelling. Thriller is flawless every song hits. T R A P S O U L redefined R&B with its moody vibe. They’re all timeless classics.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Walker's (Interlude)”
This song is a smooth R&B interlude for anyone who's ever discovered love or is still searching for it. It holds a special place in my heart as my first official release as an artist. I hope people can connect with it.
